My Approach
- Deep understanding of software development. I blog and write books about creating good software. Making things work and making them work great is my area of expertise.
- Quality is non-negotiable. Unit-tested code is my baseline, well-designed components are a must. I value clean code and won’t compromise on that.
- Full ownership. I take responsibility for the development process and think we’re a good fit if you need someone to make your app excellent, not just functional.

Engagement Structure Projects are typically structured as day-rate or half-day engagements, with clear deliverables and timelines established upfront. I’m very strict about planning what a day of work means and what you can expect.
Best Fit I’m a great fit if you need someone to make your app excellent and maintainable. I’m not the right person if you want quick-and-dirty solutions without tests or quality standards.
